Description

It’s easy to wonder if you’re still on the right path when darkness falls on the countryside. With the MH7 you don’t have to worry about this. It provides optimal lighting to keep the path clearly in sight

– even up to 600 lumens in boost mode if needed. And thanks to a magnet, the charging cable can be quickly and easily connected to the light. If charging isn’t an option, the MH7 can also be operated with disposable batteries. The battery status indicator always displays how much power is left. That leaves just one question: how much energy do YOU still have?

Boost mode: up to 600 lumens output – exactly when you need it
Easy charging of the lithium-ion battery via magnetic USB cable
Two battery types (lithium-ion and AA) combine the benefits of rechargeable and disposable batteries
Innovative Mounting System allows for easy placement and removal of the lamp for maximum flexibility

Rechargeable

Did you know that conventional, disposable batteries can require up to 600 times more electricity to produce than they can release? By opting for rechargeable batteries, not only are you saving money in the long-run by reusing the same batteries, but you’re no longer throwing disposables away, which is a plus for Mother Earth.

Not Reliable

I have had this headlamp for 4 years and it is Not my favorite. First, it requires an odd magnetic charging cable which is proprietary only to LED Lenser. And it doesn't hold tight, the magnet often comes off the port and the headlamp stops charging. I plug it into charge the night before a trip and though it was ready by the morning. But the magnet had come lose and it stopped charging... I had to rely on my backup and trusted Black Diamond for that Adirondack trip. 2nd, the single button control is confusing. I lent this to a friend and he returned it saying he could not turn it on to keep it on. A headlamp should be intuitive, not require fussing around with to function. Finally, that single button has now pooped out. Too many hard presses I guess and now it fails to function. The light turns on, then off by itself, or the red light turns on and the main light doesn't. Frustrating as this is an expensive headlamp. This should not have failed after moderate use of just 4 years.

A:Hello Michael,

The red light on the MH7 is around 20-40 lumens. It is located to the right of the main centered white light.

Thank you,
