With the MH7 you don’t have to worry about this. It provides optimal lighting to keep the path clearly in sight – even up to 600 lumens in boost mode if needed. And thanks to a magnet, the charging cable can be quickly and easily connected to the light. If charging isn’t an option, the MH7 can also be operated with disposable batteries. The battery status indicator always displays how much power is left. That leaves just one question: how much energy do YOU still have? - Boost mode: up to 600 lumens output – exactly when you need it - Easy charging of the lithium-ion battery via magnetic USB cable - Two battery types (lithium-ion and AA) combine the benefits of rechargeable and disposable batteries - Innovative Mounting System allows for easy placement and removal of the lamp for maximum flexibility - Smooth pivoting mechanism for aligning the light beam, with accuracy down to the millimeter Specifications Light Output · by mode Boost600 lm Power220 lm Mid120 lm Low20 lm | | Boost | Power | Mid | Low | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Lumens lm | 600 | 220 | 120 | 20 | | Beam distance m | 200 | 140 | 100 | 40 | | Run time h | - | 3 | 8 | 40 | **lm** lumens**m** meters**h** hours Power & Charging Battery typeLithium-ion Quantity1 Voltage V3.7 Capacity mAh1550 Energy Wh5.735 Charging min270 RechargeableYes Light Source LEDs1 ColorCool White Color temp K6000 to 7500 CRI70 Physical & Rating Weight g139 MaterialPC, PC + ABS IP ratingIP54 Drop test m2 Temp range °C-20 to +40 SwitchFront Switch Features & Technologies Transportation LockRed LightAdvanced Focus SystemSmart Light TechnologyRapid FocusCooling TechnologyDual Power SourceMagnetic Charge System All about the light beam ### LED - LED Configuration1 x Xtreme LED, 1 red LED - Luminosity1MAX 600 lm - MIN 20 lm - Lighting Range1MAX 200 m - MIN 40 m - Battery Duration1MAX 40 h - MIN 3 h - CRI70 - ## Light Functions - **Power:** High light output for every situation - **Mid Power:** Medium light output for every situation - **Low Power:** Economical light for long battery life, glare-free reading and working - **Blink:** Automatic emission of light impulses at regular intervals - **Boost:** Short-duration maximum power for more brightness ## Light Source - **Amount:** 1 - **LED type:** Xtreme LED - **Color Temperature (K):** 6000 to 7500 - **Color Rendering Index (CRI):** 70 ## Light Values | | | | | | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | **ANSI - Constant Light** | **Boost** | **Power** | **Mid Power** | **Low Power** | | Light Output (m) | 600 | 220 | 120 | 20 | | Beam Distance (m) | 200 | 140 | 100 | 40 | | Run Time (h) | | 3.5 | 8 | 40 | | **ANSI - Energy Saving** | **Boost** | **Power** | **Mid Power** | **Low Power** | | Light Output (m) | 600 | 400 | 170 | 20 | | Beam Distance (m) | 200 | 180 | 120 | 40 | | Run Time (h) | | 7 | 10 | 60 | - ## Switches - Front Switch - a switch on the top of the headlamp so you can use one hand All about the features - ## Special functions - Advanced Focus System - single-handed adjustment of the focus to put light where it is needed - Innovative Mounting System - allows for simple removal and positioning of the lamp head for maximum flexibility - ## IP-Class - IP54 - Protection against water projected in powerful spray ### Height and Weight - Head Diameter31 mm - Weight139 g All about the power ### Battery and Casing - Battery1 x Rechargeable Li-ion (2x) 14500 Battery Pack 3.7V - Water ResistanceIP54 - RechargeableYes - ## Rechargeable Did you know that conventional, disposable batteries can require up to 600 times more electricity to produce than they can release? By opting for rechargeable batteries, not only are you saving money in the long-run by reusing the same batteries, but you’re no longer throwing disposables away, which is a plus for Mother Earth. First, it requires an odd magnetic charging cable which is proprietary only to LED Lenser. And it doesn't hold tight, the magnet often comes off the port and the headlamp stops charging. I plug it into charge the night before a trip and though it was ready by the morning. But the magnet had come lose and it stopped charging... I had to rely on my backup and trusted Black Diamond for that Adirondack trip. 2nd, the single button control is confusing. I lent this to a friend and he returned it saying he could not turn it on to keep it on. A headlamp should be intuitive, not require fussing around with to function. Finally, that single button has now pooped out. Too many hard presses I guess and now it fails to function. The light turns on, then off by itself, or the red light turns on and the main light doesn't. Frustrating as this is an expensive headlamp. This should not have failed after moderate use of just 4 years.
